The Executive Assistant Guild as a community where EAs, Chiefs of Staff, and admin pros can grow, connect, and be seen. Inside, you’ll find curated tools, real-talk, and support from people who truly get it—plus invites to workshops and our private Slack space. I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s build something meaningful, together.
Hi, I’m Mick Smith — the founder of Executive Assistant Guild.
I’ve spent over a decade working as an Executive Assistant across fast-paced startups and mission-driven companies, supporting C-level leaders and navigating complex business challenges. I know firsthand how multifaceted and demanding this role is — and how essential it is to be seen not just as a support system, but as a strategic partner.
I started EAG to create the kind of space I always wished existed: one that affirms the value of EAs, centers growth and connection, and helps us all move with more confidence, clarity, and community.
My work is grounded in three core values:
Inclusion, because every EA — no matter their background — deserves access to opportunity and respect.
Integrity, because we are the stewards of trust, discretion, and excellence.
And compassion, because this job is deeply human, and we thrive when we lift each other up.
EAG is my way of giving back to the profession that shaped me — and helping shape the next generation of empowered, strategic Executive Assistants.
With love and support,
Mick
